Beltane Flower Crown Making

Come and make flower crowns and celebrate Beltane with us!
Beltane is an ancient seasonal festival that marks the height of spring and the beginning of summer. Traditionally celebrated on May 1st, it honors fertility, growth, and the vibrant energy of life fully awakening after winter. It’s a time of fire, flowers, and celebration—when the earth feels alive, abundant, and full of possibility.

This event is free and open to all. Please sign up if you can so we can anticipate numbers. We also appreciate donations towards the cost of materials =)

The Cauldron cannot host a Maypole, sadly, but it is one of the most well-known symbols of Beltane. A tall pole is decorated with ribbons, flowers, and greenery, and people gather around it to dance, weaving the ribbons in intricate patterns as they move. The dance represents connection—between people, the land, and the cycles of nature—as well as the union of masculine and feminine energies that create and sustain life.

Here at The Cauldron, Beltane invites us to celebrate joy, community, and the beauty of being alive in a world bursting into bloom.
